在往届流行音乐周上，大部分乐队和艺术家都是来去匆匆，除了在舞台上演唱，没有留下什么，甚至相互之间都不认识。本届音乐周首次打破国际界限，开幕当天，将举办一个艺术家“party”，让所有参与音乐周组织的各国大使馆、参演乐队和艺术家、音乐节组办者、合作媒体、唱片公司、音乐学校、音乐制作人、业内人士和赞助商们齐聚一堂，借助音乐周的平台尽情交流，畅谈合作的可能。艺术沙龙特设一面“交流墙”，参加音乐周的艺术家和乐队，可以把自己的节目单、宣传册、照片、名片粘贴在墙上，下面附带一个投递信夹，由感兴趣的音乐人或公司将名片投入信夹内。英国河畔艺术节艺术总监威廉姆对此很感兴趣，希望能借此机会，寻求与更多的好乐队的合作。

It’s too late to change our past, but it’s never too late to our future。
On the former Pop Music Festivals, most of the bands and artists came and went hurriedly. Except singing on the stage, they never left anything or even didn’t know each other. This time, the Music Festival will firstly break out the international bounds. On the opening day, we will held a party for artists, in order to make together each embassy involved in the organizing of this festival, bands and artists, organizers of the festival, cooperative media, record companies, musical schools, music producers, insiders and sponsors. With the help of the festival platform, they can communicate and talk about the cooperative possibility, thus it will create an exchange platform for the international pop music circle. The festival will design a special “exchange wall” for the art salon for pasting the programme sheets, brochures, photos or name cards of artists and bands. There is also a deliver file under the “exchange wall”， collecting the name cards of those musicians or companies who are interested in it. The Art Director William of Britain Riverside Art Festival has great interest in it and he hopes to seek cooperation with more good bands by this communication opportunity。
