《The Day You Went Away 》是挪威组合M2M 演唱的一首歌曲。收录在其首张专辑《 Shades Of Purple 》中，这首歌不但红遍挪威以及整个欧洲，在中国也有很高的知名度。中文版的由台湾歌手王心凌翻唱的《第一次爱的人》，作词:林怡芬，作曲:Marit Elizabeth/Marion，收录于专辑《爱你》中，是王心凌早期最经典的代表作，有着不错的传唱度和知名度。原创音乐少，较难推广，又不见质量，重量级人物少，所以很多翻唱情况出现。 至于翻唱得好不好听，那是见仁见智，各花入各眼。 但这情形更是造成原创音乐的萎缩，这是大家不愿看到的。 民族的是国际的，国际的却不一定是民族的。
