Westlife是在1998年成立的爱尔兰男子歌唱团体。 Westlife在爱尔兰和英国走红，在非洲、澳大利亚与亚洲也很受欢迎。1999年至2005年间，Westlife有13张单曲唱片在英国高据首位；其数量排名历史第四位，仅次于Elvis Presley、披头士和Cliff Richard。西城男孩也是英国流行音乐史上唯一一支头七支单曲空降榜首的乐队。他们也是唯一一个在英国拿过四次“年度最佳专辑”的组合。西城男孩在世界范围内售出四千万张专辑，其中包括七张超白金专辑。2011年10月20日，成立14年的爱尔兰流行组合西城男孩在官网发布了解散声明。

《Seasons in the Sun》是西城男孩翻唱的经典曲目，家喻户晓。其原作者为Jacques Brel。而后由Terry Jacks演唱。Nirvana与Black Box Recorder也曾翻唱过这首歌。《Seasons in the Sun》是一位法国歌手Jacques Brel的作品，原名叫做，《Le Moribond(将死的人)》，发表于1961年。歌曲的内容大致描述一个罹患癌症、不久于人世的男子，在面临死亡的时候，对父亲、妻子以及挚友的依依难舍。而后这首歌被翻译成英文的《Seasons in the Sun》，并且在1964年由民歌界元老的Kingston Trio率先灌录成唱片，不过当时并没有造成太大的轰动。然而WESTLIFE的演绎无疑把这首歌推广到了顶峰，《Seasons in the Sun》是一首具有双重意义的歌曲，它在排行榜上名列4周之久，使其成为乐队20世纪最后一首冠军单曲和新世纪的No.1。可见其魅力之大!至今这首歌已经成为西城男孩翻唱的经典曲目。这首歌也曾被Nirvana和黑匣子乐队翻唱。
